2010 Events
BurlyCon offers delightful social opportunities during the conference weekend, starting with the sparkling Meet & Greet Social on Thursday Night.
In 2009 we had SO much fun, and we're hard at work planning even more excitement for 2010! For 2009 we listened to your feedback and made the changes you asked for! FANCY DRESS FIRST! With all events gradually decreasing in formality until the PAJAMA BRUNCH on Sunday morning!
We recommend that you arrive on Thursday to check in and participate in the full weekend of activities. The last activities conclude at 6pm on Sunday, allowing ample time for out-of-town travelers to catch an evening
flight.

Thursday Oct 22
Noon REGISTRATION OPENS!
1pm Workshops and Regional Social Luncheons. Gatherings for Newbies, POC, Producers, and Teachers!
7:30-9:30pm Vintage Meet & Greet Social, hosted by Melissa Flynn and Friday Night Date. Wear your vintage finery and see previews of the rest of the weekend's wear as Melissa's models serve appetizers!
10:00 Peer Reviews! Seasoned performers go first, as everyone gets to throw in their two cents!
FRIDAY Oct 23
8am REGISTRATION OPENS! Workshops begin!

12:00 Casual build-your-own sandwich party (hosted by BurlyCon!)
2:00 Welcome with Keynote Addresses from Baby Doe, Robert Allen, and Marinka
9:30 BurlyCon Beachwear Group Photo - wear your beachwear finest! Tiki, vintage, island style!
10:00pm Late Night Tiki Pool Party with legendary Tiki DJ Otto Von Stroheim!
10:00pm Newbie Peer Reviews! Get feedback on your act from those who know the form best - your peers!

11:30-1:30 Opt-In Pajama Brunch ($15 all you can eat) Hosted by Lily Verlaine as she reclines on a chaise in loungewear! Roll out of bed (yours or someone else's) in your pj's, sleepy pants, or vintage negligees and enjoy a relaxed brunch!
